Question for mono synth patch designers

Which note priority do you guys prefer and why?
This question has been on my mind for quite some as I've noticed that more and more sound designers seem to be using low-note priority. I pretty much strictly use last-note priority as it makes playing arpeggios, trills, etc. much easier. I honestly can't see a reason for choosing high-note or low-note over last-note priority, although I would certainly choose high-note over low-note since I tend to play my arpeggios and trills up the keyboard (pedaling the lowest note), rather than down.
Your thoughts? |

both high note and low note.
depends on the sound or octave. Usually for bassliney stuff, low note priority.
high for everything else. |

Why is that? Is it just because of your personal playing style, or is there some advantage that's not obvious to me? |
