Hi guys,

Here's a sample of my nephews new skate promo. He's pretty badass :)

The Vza
looks like he's been watching a lot of old rodney mullen vids. which is definitely a good thing. he's definitely slick wit the flatground one footed moves, and the varials and body varials and that cross footed kick back move was pretty dope too.

i used to skate a lot back in the day. i'd say about half my crew got sponsored by the likes of revolver, ezekail, venture, bones, es, circa. all that . the other half went to college and I went and hustled. was really fun man.

but ya. definitely post more vids when he gets them up. that boy is super techy wit it. Id love to see him at a spot

Here's an older one which he and his friend made. First song is a little over the top, but the 2nd song rocks. It's entertaining :)

I'm sure he'll be coming to some of my gigs eventually so I'll introduce you. That's awesome that you used to skate and the companies you mentioned are great sponsors (venture / bones, damn...).

I skated for years as well, i was actually pretty damn good myself. :gsmile: I was good friends with the owner of Westwood Cycle (town I grew up in) and my older brother worked there. They put on Skate shows all the time when I was growing up and I actually met / skated with a lot of the pro's from back then (mark gonzales / rodney mullen + rest of powell peralta team, most of the pro's from that time..).

Rodney Mullen is definitely his biggest influence though I think Jesse tries to combine freestyle with street skating.

yeah dude. he is definitely crafty as with the freestyle moves there. how old?

and yoooo thats sick that you rocked out wit the peralta team. They are THE OG's of it all. soo tight. What I wouldn't have given up to have seen the Gonz gap in person back in the day, *sigh* or Love Park for that matter, I never got a chance to make it to Phil before they ed everything up. man.

i actually got all excited when we left lee burridge on NYE cause we took a wrong turn and ended up by the courthouse downtown with that steep ass bank/ledge that was in maaad videos I used to have. i got all nostalgic and . did you ever skate the brooklyn banks? oh man, you got me all hype now J. sheeiiiiit

That one footed 360 shove-it at :45 was awesome. Nice video.

Rodney Mullen is also my favorite skater. One of the most creative guys around.

Shoutout to all the skateboarders.
I was too to do it on pavement so I opted to ride my board on the snow.
your nephew is pretty damn good. Does he do Halfpipe at all?

Why did he put standard ollies over pavement in this video?

Nice, he's pretty damn good!! He'd have a good amount of fans in my hood... It wasn't like this when I was a kid but there's a huge skate culture coming out of no where here... Which is funny because when I was a kid, this area was completely ghetto and being a thug was the cool thing..

+1
I remember those years. Aside from trance I still try to keep up with the skateboarding times because that ran my life in middle school ahaha. But honestly it still interests me...I would've kept it up if I was any good at it...but nahhh.

This guy definitely has some sick tricks. He's really abstract with the foot placement, but that definitely helps give him some originality.

He's pretty good. I used to ride street on my bike for years. I stopped once i knocked out my teeth lol. Like Ravi, half of my friends got sponsored and the other half stayed in college.
