I've been know back home (the States) to enjoy a nice couple of drinks and have a pill or two .... I have heard that here you can buy it over the counter up to 10 mg? (read something about panadeine and mersyndol day strength) ..... Is 10 mg much? what is usually a prescribed amount.... any brand names I might want to know about.... or as I am guessing it is a complete waste of time and I am just a wanker... :)

I think you can only get about 8mg over the counter (otc). You can get up to 30mg prescribed. Mersyndol is about 9-10mg but i don't know it's availability otc.
Even otc drugs are controlled by some pharmacy organisation.

| I would have thought that the consumption of panadeine etc. occurs after the hefty consumption of alcohol... usually in the morning... trying to get rid of that jack hammer that has set up shop in my head. |

i work in a pharmacy so i guess the best thing to steer you with wouldn't be day strength mersyndol, but over the counter mersyndol, the that makes you drowsy...panadiene is crap, nurofen forte is pretty good but don't take it if you are asthmatic and are prone to attacks/using inhalers.
or complain of a toothache and get some fiornol dental, that will put you on your arse...or go to a dr and get a prescription of panadiene forte...hot damn... |

the most codeine you can get without prescription is 10mg... theres a brand, the name of which eludes me, which has on the box "maximum codeine without prescription"
so there you go :)
mersyndol is available otc no worries |
