what do you mean by crafted? that more skill is put into it? i view a more crafted track as being more complex and not resorted to the same trance synth and uplifting sound you hear in loads of tracks. i find some of aphex twin more well crafting then laods of trance tracks. though in no way would i want to listen to them over and over again, but they are well put together. it's just had to listen to lots of airwave products/mike and call those crafted. they soud nice but they are often simple and plain with elements that have been used over and over again. nothing new to the field anyways.. in my view..some well crafted ones..

Definately Sasha - Xpander. So is Tiesto's Urban Train. I loooove Sasha's new tune Magnetic North...its the only one that I've heard from Airdrawndagger (dont want to dl the album, waiting till release).
Chicane - Autumn Tactics (Thrillseekers mix), although someone pointed out that remixes shouldn't be mentioned...this is still a well-crafted peice. |
