I don't know if it's the same since you have an iphone app, but if u don't have GPS or the app, you can do it off the mobile site.
This is what I do even though I have GPS, but since I have a nokia, there isn't an app that I can use. |

I pinned my first spot, and it looks like it guessed by IP address, but pinned it about a block away from its true location. |
