I need to know if anybody has an idea of what type of synths/fx tyDi uses for the kind of grinding intro bass on this track.

This is a extremely tight production. |

Great track yes.
Sounds to me like a heavily distorted ultra low pitch saw? Gladiator has some similar patches. But there seems to more going on, probably some automation etc...
But Gladiator definently has some of these grinding saw basses if you happen to own it. |

There is a tydi in the studio vid on youtube if you look hard enough...
He uses logic and from what i know likes the built in synths a lot (es1/2) |

It's a cool synth. Complements a subtractive synth very nicely.
Listen to this clip and tell me this doesn't sound juicy :)

That's just a saw in stereo unison with some distortion. |

| I applied Decimort Bitcrusher, to a Vanguard saw and it sounds kind of in the same categorical alley as this track, I experiment around with it. Still Gladiator seem very tempting though. |

Do you have Sylenth1? If not then this should be your first purchase. It's the virus of soft synths :)
Gladiator is a bit "out there", but together with a nice subtractive synth like Sylenth or z3ta (is it subtractive?) or v station it's a great compliment. |

| Yes, Ive had all of the mentioned for quite some time. Z3ta+ is some kind of analog waveshaping synth I think, It has a very different sound from Sylenth1. |

another rip off of sunshine! at least mark sherry referenced it...
