the worst was wmc05. i saw (all in one night at space), people wearing beach shorts, flipflops complete with sand, white plain wife beater tank tops, visors, and these chicks with a huge beach bag out of which they pulled out doritos and were snacking away in the middle of the dance floor.

lol, doritos? What a mess

Guys, if you're wearing jeans, you're in to almost any club except Set. Shoes don't really matter. I wore my Chucks/Adidas all week to night parties at various venues the last couple years and had no problem. Because of the conference, everything is very relaxed. Just don't show up in your ghetto fabulous attire.

Ladies, just show up and you're in.

My guess is it will vary depending on the club/party. If there is an experienced female wmc'er that can give me a rough idea that would be great :)

I am actually quite suprised what they let girls wear in the clubs. I have personally never done sneakers but cute dressy flip flops are ok at space. Downtown is a little more relaxed then the beach.

Just do a combination of formal casual and dress to dance -- and you'll be good.

I see no reason why Nice jeans/Nice shirt/Nice sneakers won't get you in.

just bought these in black today

http://media.kohls.com.edgesuite.net/is/image/kohls/515023?wid=230&hei=230&op_sharpen=1

need to break them in starting now, so they are good to go.

bought some shorts and some short sleeve shirts as well, 3 pairs of jeans.

I dont have much of a wardrobe due to losing weight. went from 38 waist to 30/32 and xlarge/large to medium/small shirts, even shoes went from 12/11s to 10.5/10s now.

The beauty of being a girl is that you can fit a ton of little black dresses into your suitcase. Tanks and mini skirts don't take up any space either. I find the space hogs are my boots and shoes. I wear wedges at night and flats during the day. I also bring flip flops for around the pool and the beach.

I bring one light jacket which matches everything (black!) and scrunches down into a small space in my bag at night. It's true that it doesn't get cold in Miami, but on rare occasions I have found it a bit chilly or there's been a wind and I hate my teeth chattering when I'm trashed and leaving a club at 5am.
