AGREED! This is going to be a spectacular trance event by the pool. Sure Armin will give a closing set at the end but the guys listed on this flyer should do more than enough justice for your trance fix. If you don't think they will then you probally shouldn't even be there.....

Couldn't agree more with you....who the hell cares who's going to be surprise guest, line up shown is more than enough....I say forget about surprise guest and give current line up more time to spin :toothless

well some of us are seeing a lot of these artists elsewhere. so unless theres something new and special (like svd in my case) its not worth it to go. thats why it matters for some of us.

Well if people are basing their whole day/week on Armin, then let's face it, they're idiots. Newsflash: He isn't really as great as you think.

You're right, He is not that great but he is good when he really wants to be. He would make this the epic party it needs to be by bringing in the crowd though. I am not saying have Armin there because I want to hear a epic set, I want this party to be slammed and bumping.

Yeah, he is, but unfortunately that isn't as often as it used to be. And a 1 hour set at the end of a pool party isn't gonna be blowing anyones mind. Will bring people in though, just hopefully not the wrong sort of people.

GARETH EMERY
To say Gareth Emery has had a good year would be a vast understatement. Over the past twelve months, the popularity and buzz surrounding the young Brit reached explosive proportions, culminating in him being voted no.9 in 2009's definitive DJ Mag Top 100 poll: one of only a handful of DJs to crack the world's top ten before the age of 30. Was this down to producing pure club anthems like Exposure and Metropolis alongside stunning remixes for Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond, all of which led to him spending more time at the top of Beatport's trance chart that any other artist in'09? Maybe it was the launch of his new Garuda label and club night, responsible for selling out Manchester's iconic Sankeys club four times in a row whilst releasing his critically acclaimed The Sound Of Garuda compilation. Or perhaps it was the sheer amount of people he played to, banking half a million air miles travelling to over one hundred gigs at some of the world's finest clubs and festivals. Whatever the reason, one thing is for certain: he's on fire like never before.

COSMIC GATE
Over 10 boundary-pushing years, Nic Chagall and Bossi have evolved Cosmic Gate into one of the most creative and highly-sought-after electronic music acts in the world. Revered uber-producers, their musical acumen has seen them become long-term favourites of the trance’s Big 5 DJs with their 3 hugely-received albums transporting anthems to the dancefloor. As DJs, their kinetic, blood-pumping live performances are seen by hundreds of thousands of club and festival goers annually. Playing a 100 nights every year, it’s this ever-visible club presence that saw them climb 43 spot to reach their highest position to-date on the DJ Mag Top 100, landing at No.19 in 2009.

BLANK & JONES
They materialized as recording artists in 1997 with a single called Sunrise, and since then, as a combination of disc jockeys & musicians, travelers & dreamers, party planners & thinkers, chill-out emperors & rave gurus, lo-tempo sweethearts & energetic pop masterminds they have had numerous hit singles & albums in their home country of Germany. Meanwhile, their charged, transporting, intensely jubilant Mix albums from Volume 1 to Volume 3‹showcase blank+jones as being geniuses of trance, serious masters at captivating international hedonists dedicated to losing their mind and finding their body, or losing their body and finding their mind.

MENNO DE JONG
Master of numerous music industry disciplines, Menno de Jong has already carved enough notches on the dance tree for someone twice his age. His production & remix career has seen him record for some of Europe’s biggest trance labels and he’s the owner of lauded Dutch independent Intuition Recordings. A bona-fide Podcast pioneer, he’s produced and presented the much respected and widely-syndicated Intuition Radio show for the last 3 years. As a DJ he’s closed gigs for Tiësto & Paul van Dyk, is currently ranked at No. 48 in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 Chart and has spun in over 25 countries. At just 24years old, he is without question the next challenger to the Dutch trance throne!

SEAN TYAS
A New York native now residing in Switzerland, Sean Tyas has been the brightest new star to emerge in the trance scene for years. Sean first broke onto the scene in 2006 when Sander van Doorn selected him winner of the 'Punk'd' remix competition, while Discover also snapped up his track 'Lift' which captured the imagination of the trance community and went on to be one of the year's biggest releases, getting playlist support from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond and Judge Jules.

DANIEL WANROOY
Hailing from the flatlands of Dordrecht, Southern Holland, Daniel has been influencing the playlists of some of the world’s top DJs for over 6 years. Both as one half of highly-lauded duos Progression & Odyssee and as a standalone artist, his evocative, imaginative music has successfully cross-bred virtually every sub-genre of trance. His wish to see his tracks evolve from the perspective of the DJ booth along with a desire to travel the globe prompted Daniel to take the DJing plunge in 2003. DJ dates have given him an invaluable POV. He cut his teeth at an "In Trance We Trust" party in Eindhoven and has subsequently warmed up for Tiësto, spun at the legendary Heineken Hall in Amsterdam & played to 15,000 strong crowds across Europe. He now DJ’s regularly in the UK, as well as dates right across the world.

This party looks like it's going to be bonkers all day!!!

I really liked the Sirius Party with Above & Beyond, Markus & Kaskade, but now since they took off A&B and I'm seeing Markus the night before, this seems ideal!

Probably will purchase my ticket by tomorrow night and hit the party up at around 3. See you all there! :eyespop:

Just so you know, I'm 99.9% sure Above & Beyond is still playing the Sirius Pool Party. They are the "very special Anjunabeats" artist. 99.9% sure of it anyways. Could possibly be wrong. But everything points to them just changing their advertising name due to UMF exclusive rights to the name Above&Beyond.

I have been REALLY asking around and no one has any firm idea who the surprise guest is? Has anyone here received any solid info from reliable sources?? My guess is still Markus or Armin but I'm still waiting on buying a ticket. :(
