| I wish john played like this more often live. The first hour or so defines the sound Ive been aiming at for some time, but dont get to play it out much. The deep proggy sound with guys like RPO and the likes. Such a great sound. Everybody expects the harder J00f psy stuff live, Los Angeles and SF in particular. |

You would've loved his 6 hour set at 1015 a few years back (the set was actually about 5+ hours). It allowed him to develop an incredible palette of sound where he started with the anonymously deep and proggy stuff and very subtly raised the intensity as the night wore on. It was absolutely brilliant. I've been listening to John's stuff since the 90s and he's one of those DJ who always finds that extra something to impress me, despite my already expecting it. |
