| Tiesto will be at HAZE in Vegas around the same time. Hopefully it wont be a gazillion dollars to get in cause I'm gonna be there that weekend! lol |

RS doesn't have to rely on us trance-heads when they book Tiesto. His name is big enough that they can cater the night to people willing to spend more...because they haaaaaavvvvvveeeeeee to be at a Tiesto show.
Just like for Oakenfold. Never gets much hype on here, but he still fills up clubs no problem, on name recognition alone.
And BTW, I think those Tiesto @ HAze tickets started at $60, and skyrocketed from there. :) |

yup. agreed. No chatter here, but 43 comments on the FB post by RS yesterday. TAs who post a lot here seem to be done with him. I actually didn't go. Conveniently, I have a cold anyways. (I actually had to skip the Giants game and I had good tickets - I couldn't have handled it even without the 4-hour rain delay.).
I'm just tired of the whole Tiesto drama. If it had started at a lower price, I might have been conned into it since the last show was actually really good. But for that price, too much of a risk of a fail and not getting your money's worth, so I let some douche-bag pay the $70 instead. I'm sure he had a good time, grabbed a few asses, and spilled some champagne on some other clowns. |

| Yup! I think most trance addict (including myself) are over Tiesto. Tiesto is great DJ for a EDM newbie, but not for the experienced EDMer. I've been picking Erick Morillo @ Tao over Tiesto @ Jet/Bank/Haze Memorial and Labor Day weekends for a number of years now. |

I mean the last time when he played at cow palace , in 2009 I mean there were 6 or 7 threads going on at the same time. so it was suprising to see that there was just one thread and it was on page 6 or something.
I had to bump it up.
We had 2 tiks, my gf and I decided not to go coz we watched him the last four times he came here.
