But they don't talk about the much strong areas of the movement in the south and east, they barely even touch on its origins beyond talking about the Sheriff from Arizona and then promptly say a sheriff from Washington agrees with him. |
maybe it would mean something to me if i gave a about pointless supposed geographical bias. all i care about it a growing movement in the US that rewards stupidity and idolises ignorance.
considering the author is writing in idaho i fail to see what the problem is. |

Idaho is a problem. The issue I have is them hardly differentiating the minority radical views shared by those in the desert with those of the other 12 million people that do not share their views here. :(
We are Canada Lite, the only part of the country most other countries don't hate. |

So what.
You'll sit on your arse being morally outraged doing nothing, impotent, weak and powerless like people always do in domestic situations that don't involve them personally. |

but that's not the point of the article. its not a story of the political demographics of the PNW. its an article on the tea party, which just happens to revolve around the tea party in that part of the country. and, if the PNW is as hippie, progressive and peace-pipe-sharing as you say it is, the existence of such rabid loonies in that environment might be worth a story or two.
honestly, you're bent out of shape over this article for all the wrong reasons. |

| I read that article and I never got the impression this is about the Pacific NW. Stop trying to steal the Tea Partys' thunder. |

Eh. I read it. I didn't get the idea they were attacking the PNW that much, but there was some subtle undertones in it. Seemed more of an attack on how crazy the Tea Party people are and it was focusing on a group of them that are in our illustrious area. Not sure why, since they're much more common back East, but whatever.
ing Tea Party people make me sick. Glenn Beck deserves to have his tongue removed on television. |

| Cliff, you know that I'm always an ardent supporter of the Pacific Northwest/Cascadia/etc., but this time around you're trying way too hard. Just stop before you make us look like a bunch of crazy idiots. |
