How do -you- organize your music?

I'm kind of curious to see what everyone does. I think I've been doing a ty job, plus, admittedly I haven't gone hunting for new stuff for a while.
Do you organize via artist, if it's a single/EP?
Via style?
Via where you download/purchase?
Livesets in a separate folder?
Compliations/albums in a separate folder?
If you run out of HD space, do you just buy more? Or burn away?
If you get alot of new tracks, how do you keep track of them? Do you decide fast and toss away the fillers/crap really quickly? (Since not everyone can listen to all their new stuff all at once ... or if you do... awesome)
Do you cry when you can't find the name of that one track in a set? |

Through a complex system of pulleys and levers.
...The simple version is Albums/Compilations/Singles/Individual Downloads. |

This is my own weird way of organizing my music. I use Itunes and I transfer all my CDs onto there. Got both my actual albums and my assortment of non album tracks under various genres in my "Album" category. These genres consist of;
Alternative (any kind of rock)
Downtempo (pretty self explanatory; ambient, chill, trip hop and the like)
Dance (trance, house and their various subgenres)
Electronic (techno, breakbeat, dnb, big beat, dubstep and anything else which doesn't fit under my over-populated dance category)
Miscellaneous (pop, synthpop, etc)
Hip Hop (rap, hip hop)
Orchestral (classical, new age, film scores)
Serbian (:p)
its just easier to do it this way instead of grouping each track under their specific genres. its more general but at least I know where I can find certain artists and songs. |

music->a-z->tiesto->albums, singles
For sets
music->mixes->'genre'->Tiesto @ energy 2000
However my 'undefined' genre folder is quite a mess :o |

iTunes organizes everything for me like: Artist -> Release -> Track, unless it's noted as a compilation then it's Compilations -> Album -> Disc Number (if applicable) -> Track.
I have playlists that are synched to Traktor, those are organized in folders: Month -> Early/late/top 10 |

Thanks for input all.
I guess no-one uses outside applications, bah, I don't like iTunes :o
By-date playlists sounds like a good idea too... |

I used iTunes to keep the directory structure nice, but I listen in Winamp, play live with Traktor.
I ing hate iTunes though, why the don't they support FLAC or OGG Vorbis? Pisses me off to no end... |
