Haha, I wasn't implying anything bad about Droog or the artists they book in LA. Just saying that there are other artists, producers, dj's, and parties that exist and are GOOD outside of the Droog world.
Funny, cuz I was talking to Bas a while ago about something similar to this, and now he is doing the exact same thing himself. |

No, I think it's probably Harvey. |

It has to do with him making negative comments about any dj, producer, artist, or party that doesn't involve Droog.
When he posted that Sian is good, I was shocked. |

Well it really has nothing to do with Droog or anyone else (not sure where you got that from :conf: ). I was genuwinely interested in knowing if this was a typical Adam Beyer set or not.
I enjoy good music and unfortunately the majority of Adam Beyer's sets are total crap, which is a shame because I've heard him play amazing sets. Over the past 2-2.5 years, however, it seems all he plays is his and Marco Carola's stuff which is basically mind numbing big room techno for 3+ hours. No thanks, I like music with some life in it. |

You're just making that up. Bas likes plenty of DJs, producers, etc that have nothing to do with droog. That insinuation makes absolutely no sense.
Why do you need Bas to like the same exact stuff you do? |

Perhaps Bas does like DJ's and producers that aren't affiliated with Droog. But, my point is that (on TA), it seems that he is always posting something negative about events, DJ's, producers etc that aren't affiliated with Droog somehow.
I realize this is an open forum, and we all have different taste in music, but at least try to not make it so obvious that you only post positive things that have to do with Droog events and dj's.
Ok, hope I made my point. |

If your were replying in response to Tiesto, Guetta, or Fairy... then I would agree, but come on already. :o |
are these the only forms of boring you're accepting?
there are plenty of djs and producers out there besides tiesto, guetta and ferry that are total . if you take any genre out there and sort through all the music that has ever been published, you'll find that no matter where you look, most of it is crap. that's part of the skill of being a good dj--finding the few gems within the mountains of . so unless you have some compelling evidence that bas is talking out of his ass about beyer, you should stop pulling the whole droog card every time bas or clovis has an opinion that differs from yours. in fact you should just stop doing that altogether. these guys are actually buying music, putting out mixes and djing gigs... how immersed in the music are you by comparison to challenge their tastes?
just sayin |
