I just calculated that set in my head: 3hrs x 8 listends....24 hours of BEB Markus in one week! :eyes:

Wish I could listen to EDM @ Work :( :( I have to listen to Milli Vanilli :( :(

apparently, he's playing a 7-9hrs set. a friend told me he had a canvo with him in ibiza in the summer and he told him he was working on a 9 hour set for ny in may 2010. also, couple other people heard about this. not gonna give out the names, i'll take the blame if he ends up playing less than 7hrs.

I think on a Friday night/Saturday morning they are more liberal with closing times, but Saturday night/Sunday morning they usually close by 400AM. I don't remember exactly, but some places are allowed to stay open after hours, but I forget if they have to stop serving alcohol or they have special licenses that allow them to continue that.

I remember years back I think it was Christopher Lawrence did a long set that ran until like 1000AM and it included breakfast, haha.
Scoops

4. Rex Mundi vs Ronski Speed - The Perspective Space (Markus Schulz Mashup)
5. Tilt - The World Doesn't Know
6. Bedrock - Beautiful Strange
7. Audioholics - External Key
8. Jose Amnesia ft. Jennifer Rene - Louder
9. Vincent de Moor - Fly Away (Cosmic Gate Remix)

I just collapsed out of my chair! If he really plays a 7-9hr set i can die a happy man. First hand he destroyed BeB, I was left frozen in awe on various occasions and if he plans to take everyone down his rabbit hole in may we are all in for the time of our lives...

from what i understand hell be dropping new tunes from the new album and then recording the set as one of his upcoming world tours. he's also trying to test out longer sets in nyc because he is hoping to work towards "markus only" kind of events where he gets the stage all night...but he needs to be certain there's a big enough fan base to listen that long :)so, he's hoping to do at least 12-7 am.

OMG, this would be amazing---hoping this happens as it would solidify why I chose to fly up there to see him!

I am flat out geeking out to the thought of this, i thought his set at BeB was as good as i would hear but this makes me think otherwise. Markus is my numero uno and imo the only big name dj yet to sell out to the popular trance trends and develop his own unique style that has touches on all genres (techno, tech-house, progressive, trance etc)He understands what his respective crowds want and he always delivers. Holy this will be ing LEGENDARY if it goes down. Also i am itching to hear his new material because i have heard multiple interviews where he highlights the growing trend for trance to incorporate the sounds of many genres (ie: techno) so i am expecting some heavy dark and flat out dancefloor destroying tracks.

As for pacha only staying open til 4, on multiple occasions i have been there and they have stopped serving booze and shut the front doors but let the party continue well into the morning, i know for a fact they let mark knight play til 7am during his toolroom residency over last summer and it was a great time, only those with the tru minerals to stay that stuck it out got to enjoy the party. by 7 the place was no longer crowded but still going off with a perfect crowd of true party animals:)

I will leave it with this..."LONG LIVE SCHULZ" and i have to go change my shorts...giggity
