I'm sure there is a thread like this...but I'm lazy today...sorry TA!

My mom and I are coming up to Toronto Saturday afternoon and staying till Monday. I am looking for fun/interesting things to do with her. She's like this should be no problem for you since you've been there a million times. Little does she know these million times included The Guv, Footwork, Comfort Zone, and boat cruises. lol.

We are def thinking about doing the King Tut exhibit and for dinner Saturday night I'm taking her to Nathan Barato's restaurant.

Any suggestions on shopping areas would be great too!

Thanks!

yorkville

chinamon, i am shocked an appalled that you held back
FunkyCrew
- Bata Shoe Museum for some shoes :)
- Queen west shopping and dinner date (I'd go there as opposed to Eaton, if the weather permits)
- Yorkville has the same stores anyway (plus high end ones if you have $$ to spend)
- ROM still has the Dead Sea scrolls exhibit I think?
- Kensington Market
- Harbourfront (is there anything going on except skating?)

My mom really likes the distillery district - its better in the summer, but all the shops are open in the winter. Don't forget to visit soma chocolate :)

Thanks guys.

Yeah I've been to Nathan's rest before with Ace but just for drinks. Very excited eat there.

We were going to stay at Le Royal Meridien King Edward because I've stayed there once before and the location was great. But seems like I could find something cheaper in that area. Any suggestions on hotels?
Abercrombie
plz post pic of your mom, and I'll decide
