No problem, I was just saying that the proper term was progressive psytrance :p
Yes, there are plenty of prog-psy tracks that embody more of a house structure than a trance structure. There are a ton of tracks that fall into either style. Check out Domesticated's sets, he has at least 3 sets that have prog-psy with a house attitude. You should be able to find something you like there.
As far as the BPM is concerned, most prog-psy is in the 128ish-138ish range, so I understand where you are coming from, trust me. The slower stuff generally has a house flavor, and the faster has a trance flavor. I'm not that stupid, guys :p
Wasn't saying that you were Mr Professor :D
and thanks for the links

There's no such thing as "psyprog". Prog psy is prog psy, and a few BPM of difference don't make it another genre.

In the way the OP was referring to it, he was labeling prog-psy with a house flavor as "psyprog", the prog portion referring to progressive house. Confusing, I know, but the correct term is progressive psytrance, or prog-psy.

Yet again you embarrass yourself by proclaiming what is a genre and what is not by YOUR definitions.
People will coin their own phrase for the music they listen to pure and simple. I don't understand why you seem to think you are the leading authority to dictate to others about their choices or opinions?
I have to laugh at the hypocrisy when I look at your sig and see "epic house" It shoots your above quote down in flames quite spectacularly!
What a tool you truly are..........

I'm sure he just flipped around the words by mistake ;)
Anyway If we go back 10 years when labels such as Digital Structures, Spiral Trax and Iboga started releasing what is now labeled as prog psy it was simply being called progressive. But since many of the producers had produced psy trance prior to progressive the end result was a fusion between the two genres. Heck even Cass & Slide produced goa and psytrance before going progressive: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBrdfi1dNfo
The term progressive psytrance is just a way to label the type of progressive trance that was released on the above mentioned labels.

Would you like me to bring out every piece of evidence I have that I did not invent "epic house"? I've got multiple mentions on official artist/DJ biographies, articles from Mixmag, interviews dating back 13 years, mentions in Simon Reynolds' book Energy Flash (written in 1998) and a compilation from 1996 named after it.
Sadly for you, the style, while short-lived and relatively niche, did in fact exist and is well documented. It is not just some idiosyncratic label one guy on a forum has invented. Now jog the on, son.

Again as always, you fail to see the idiocy of your original post I mentioned.
If something is "well documented" or not, it does not fall to you to imply that anyone else's definition is in any way incorrect.
The irony of this is that someone once upon a time did come up with the "epic house" tag. By large, a correct definition of the style.
You are stating that it is impossible for someone to have a relevant term to something they listen to, furthermore ignoring that it is even possible.
Keep droning on if it makes you feel any better or gives you a sense of purpose. It is VERY amusing!
