CVS on Lincoln, you can stock up on sun lotion, all toilet items, and snacks/drinks for cheap...theres no reason to cart a bunch of stuff with you, and unless you're an actual DJ that needs some equipment along for the trip, theres no reason to bring a bunch of electronics--half that will get stolen out of your hotel room anyway!
I used to overpack and realized a couple years ago it was a waste--never had room for things I'd pick up on the trip and didn't wear or need half the stuff I brought with me.
Less you pack = more mobile you can be and less time waiting in the airport (can take HOURS to get your bag at MIA) |
need at least 10-12 shirts! plus jeans and the like..probably cant fit in a carry on |

I mean 2 bags is enough, mine are a moderate carry-on and a moderate sized checked.
It worked nicely when I went to Vegas 2 years ago.
Just trying to save money and since I have this stuff normally anyway might as well bring it along and then bring it back to save money. Why should I buy another $4 can of cleaning spray, or $4 mouth wash or $8 sun tan lotion when I know I wont use all of it and I rather not toss it away in the trash. It just stinks that this airline started charging 1 checked bag fee but o well. I barely have 3 outfits in my carryon and then a few other odds and ends and it already full. The checked bag has the rest of my clothes and it half full already.
I am going to be there for 6 days and 5 nights, need to use alot of stuff. I plan to take at least 1 shower a day if not 2 to stay somewhat fresh. And I dont feel like spending money on doing laundry there so in the end I will pay teh $20 per way for a checked bag and I can bring alot more stuff liquid wise. |

22 hours! jeebus...
well at least if the car breaks down you'll have more than an excessive amount of luggage stuffed with your belongings to last you a few WEEKS haha.
Seems like all the guys are the ones overpacking...usually its girls..but not this WMC crowd apparently |

| i fit 11 days' worth of clothing, 2 pairs of shoes, and toiletries in one medium-sized piece of luggage. i'm only in miami for 7 days, but i'll need to change clothes in the middle of the day a few times (pool parties --> night parties). it's not difficult! i'm also bringing a carry-on with my cds, headphones, books/mags, etc. |

yea had no clue...sorry Banora! I do that all the time online...even in my business--i don't know why I just assume everyone is a dude on the internets..and I sell womens hair care products and styling tools...yet still think its a guy all the time buying this .

i'll be there a little late too, Thursday early morning, but i can't wait!!!! fly out on the red eye wednesday night.
i had a hell of a weekend, jesse rose friday night and down to SD saturday for lee burridge, hardly any sleep this weekend and work today until wednesday. got nothing done over the weekend to pack/get ready so i'll be running around tonight and tuesday night. but it'll all be worth it :) |
