How accurate are the predictions?
Currently looking at LAX to LAS may 1-3 and its saying
69% steady
4% it goes up
24% it goes down
theoretically i look at this and assume that if i have 4 such flights i am tracking, that only one of them will actually go down(25%).
but in reality, is a 24% pretty much a sure thing it is coming down? it currently is $139 but was just at $99 about 10 days ago. Unfortunately I just got an invite a coupld of days ago to meet up with a friend that weekend for the Mayweather vs Mosely fight. He will already be in vegas for the nike basketball coaches clinic so he's set.
thanks in advance! |

They are usually pretty good. And by that percentage, I'd personaly not expect flight prices to go anywhere. But if it does go anywhere, it'll prob go down. :p
THe 'it goes down" part has even dropped a couple percent. 21% now. :p
At they very least, it's 95+% that prices will either hold steady or drop. So even if you wait to see if prices go down again, it's a very slim chance they will go up....so you are prob pretty safe on holding out to see if any special sale pops up. When it dropped to $99, it was only for two days (Feb 10-11). It droped from $139 to $99 for those two days, and then went back to $139. Airlines could have a another sale again at any time...sure yo know this!
Also, I see it's mainly US Airways. US Airways is (or was last time I checked) an airline that will refund you the difference if the price goes down. It might just be a voucher, but still something you can use in the futrue. You have to keep an eye out for any price drops though and call them if you see it happen. Just an option if you don't want to wait to buy the ticket.
Be sure to keep an eye on southwest's website seperately. Bing, Kayak,e tc do not have southwest in their system. Prob southwest's choice. Southwest often has sales seperate from other airlnies. |

True. Also look into BUR to LAS w/ Jet Blue. There is one flight a day... |
