Guetta handled it well though...laughed it off. |

yaaa. I'll tell you what was NOT a fail though... and that was post-verizon center when Guetta came to Fur, brought will.i.am with him and for the first maybe hour and a half or 2 of his set mashed up everything under the sun with dirty ass house. and the second half of his set was just filthy after will left. I think they world premiered a couple tracks if my memory served me correct. something with guetta afrojack and will maybe? and dave asked will honestly what's better, the performance at verizon center or being at hte club with the real fans and will did some sort of pledge of allegiance to the party people of the club and to the DJ for which is stands under one beat with liberty and justice for the club. or some such nonsense but it was cool.
people can hate all they want on guetta but like... sometimes I believe that if you're a musician and your putting smiles on that many faces and you're making that many people go nuts then it's a job well cone and the music snobs (us) can go themselves. :toothless |

Agreed.
I find it hysterical when people bitch and moan that he places so high in the DJ Mag poll, like its some horrible injustice. He reaches out to a huge audience, and touches a lot of people with his music. Can't fault him for that... |

That sucks.
I used to be a specialist at taking the needle off the wrong record after a mix back in the day. Thats a pretty easy fix though. You just immediately put it back on.

I remember that, haha. You know nothing beats my pressing cue when we were opening for Christian Smith @ Love. I don't think I played that track ever again (John Dahlback - S for E), and I almost decked Mike in the face lol. Of course, it was also followed later by backspinning the wrong cdj. That's what happens when you're drinking and the cdj's are backwards (channel 1 on the right, and channel 2 on the left).
Ah the good ol days... |

| I wonder how ppl would've reacted if it would've been a nobody... |

everyone was a nobody at one time...Therefore he is a nobody
but only if your getting philosophical...if not...then if nobody is reaching out to somebody then nobody would hear it...you can't make something from nothing (unless your god)...but once again thats philosophical
ps im not stoned i swear...just a philosophy major |
