As far as a suforum for events goes, I would also vote to keep the current structure, as most of the threads in this forum are about the events and it would split things up too much in mz opinion and release some of the energy and tightness, if we would split into general topics and event subforum.

Check the California, New York, or Texas forums -- you have the option of showing event threads mixed in with the normal threads.

In terms of having the Ultra stickied in every forum - that's for promotional purposes since TA is a media partner.

Due to the language issue, what I'm thinking now is every area (France/Germany/Holland/etc.) will have their own event sub-forum and from the drop-down list (when creating events) you will have the regions specific to your country listed first *BUT* also have regions from other Euro countries (this allows you to create your own *local event discussion thread* for party planning/info (in your own language).

I think this will work best since you Euros are unique :D

The next step is to gather from each area what the most common areas are for events, example:

Holland

UTR - Utrecht, NL

Germany

MAN - Mannheim, DE

^^ in terms of acronyms, they would best be unique (since we're doing this across multiple forums). MAN could also stand for Manchester, UK - so maybe Mannheim could be MHM? You guys/gals would know best.

Sounds more like a new chaos for me :p :p :toothless :toothless

Leave it with short Namens..... write the full Names of the town..... as you can see it wouldn´t work really well......... :haha:

If you want to use acronyms, perhaps it's a good idea to use the airport-codes since the effort of creating them unique has already been done...
