I bought this in the kvr group buy - found it a bit daunting and was actually thinking about selling it
Got more into it recently, its quite a beast actually. Theyve released new presets and some new tutorials videos - the video on envelopes using the MSEG is really cool
any fans here? |

Alchemy is the sh!t if you're looking for a versatile sound design tool. Was waiting for it for a long time and bought it bundled with Cameleon 5000. I actually use the Cameleon a lot more, because it just does what I need, but if I have any serious sound effects to make, or eerie sounds to conjure, Alchemy is the tool of choice.
Plus having 600 oscillators in unison ... well thats a supersaw cracker right there :haha: |

Have it, use it, love it. I'm actually using several instances of Alchemy in a new chillout tune that I am working on for the TA compilation.
I use it mostly for its additive and subtractive capabilities, but one of these days, I need to dig deeper into its granular and spectral features. |

You could probably spend years just exploring through the different types of synthesis and options - brilliant synth |
