Between this release, the classy Nomi & Rampa EP, the Rennie Foster and the DJ Yellow singles, Rebirth has started the year with a string of quality releases.

Rebirth always kind of misses the mark for me. These are good but the last release on rebirth that I really liked was the one with a Jacques Renault remix.

Stefano Testa - Manetta's Fine Food EP
The one with the Brothers Vibe remix and a Tevo Howard remix as well. Nice release.
Rebirth does a wide range a stuff, so its hard to like most of what they do if your a DJ playing a sound. They dont have a sound, they keep it versatile and release stuff based on whatever is good that comes in and is worth releasing.
I cant use everything they release, though the quality is there, and I can see them useful to DJs worldwide, who play the particular releases sound.

Redanka remixed Nu Frequency's track with Shara Nelson in 2008 and it was awesome.

Feeling the Motor City Drum Ensemble remix, what a beautiful and brilliantly crafted production. MCDE is on fire, nothing but quality releases from Danilo Plessow. I will buy the out of this. The RF remix is starting to grow on me and it's pretty damn good in its own right as well. I see it working very well being played towards the end of a set. ReBirth keeps bringing it, excellent release, one of my top 5 labels atm.

This remix of a Ben Onono was nice vocal track back in the day.
The original was also released by Ibadan.
The breakdown is sick, something i'd drop later in the night to shift the crowds mood.
He has a voice that naturally lends to images of the beach or nostalgia.
