whats wrong with a hotel room? some people dont want to do something extravagant or anything public.

well its obvious when a girl just got proposed to, the first thing she'll do is enjoy the moment then tell her friends shes engaged. its pretty normal. whether its phone call or picture message.

Most people are pretty excited to tell their friends that they got engaged, I don't see that as attention-seeking behavior.
If she ran out onto the balcony and yelled "Hey everybody, look at me! I just got engaged" then ran around the hotel lobby screaming, then yeah - you'd have a point.
Taking a pic and sending it to your friends is pretty normal/expected behavior I'd say. |

i still think proposing in a hotel room is sooooooo corny
im not saying it has to be at a ball game etc or w/e like media portrays...but why not something more sentimental between the 2 like the spot they first met (if its possible) or first date location or you know...
