Asian pears - soooooo good!

so for my morning snack at work today i packed myself some asian pears that i bought from the chinese supermarket the other day....wanted to try them out
i just took my first bite and instantly fell in love with them!! they are sooooo juicy and crisp and got that little "crunch" to it...
this is officially my new favourite fruit, besides peaches and mangos
anyone else get the priviledge to nom nom and chomp down on these gifts from god??
this just made my day :)
now back to work!

you can buy the trees from one of th4e seed catalogs i have. they have three species ($50 each) but you need at least two different species for pollenation. i might try it this summer but it takes 1-2 years before you get any fruit.
but, yes, asian pears rock. |

I've ALWAYS preferred dating women of different culture. I've learned so much about many, and one of the better by-products of those relationships were being exposed to foods and flavours of the world.
Currently I'm waiting on her or her mom making me some haggis :P |

I have one of those pear trees in my back yard, with 3 diff types of pears :D |
