Once again Italy proves it is not fit to be a 1st world country. (pg. 2)

We also invented mexicans. If it weren't for an Italian having the balls to sail across the atlantic, spaniards would have never had the chance to rape indians. So we can also take credit for getting those dirty spaniards some red .
Schadenfreude

think about it.

Also I'm not talking about Italians making fun of a retarded person in the video. Its that they tried, convicted, and sentenced three people in total absentia who had NOTHING to do with the crime. It doesn't even begin to make sense.

Italians beating Italians up is par for the course, I mean look at New Jersey.

oh my you are so smart as if this kind of stupid stuff didn't happen in other countries?

look at the whole p2p debate and the people hosting the trackers which as we all know don't actually host the files ... haven't some of these people been convicted in the united states for example?

don't tell me it's any different. it's "exactly" the same

Yes, but the difference is that those are all civil court matters. Any idiot can go in front of a judge and jury and try and prove something in civil court. When these case are brought to criminal court they are either never brought to trial because they are dismissed or the defendants get off.

To try, convict, and sentence, in absentia these Google execs in criminal court is beyond comprehension.

Think of it this way. You do something that the **AA groups don't like, instead of going and trying you in your home country they go try you in absentia in a place like Italy and then deny you your right to basically travel to the EU since they have extradition treaties to other EU members.

Its a dangerous precedence that has not been seen before and can directly relate to the example you gave, but in a much, much more dire way.
