Strange MIDI glitch in FL Studio

So, yesterday I opened up FL, loaded Z3ta, and began playing around with some melodies on my keyboard controller(Evolution MK-461). I was playing for about 5 - 10 minutes when I noticed that the keys that I was pressing were playing incorrect notes. I figured maybe I just hit the transpose button in my melody driven fury, but that wasn't the case. I continued hitting keys and realized that what I was hearing was everything I had just played a few minutes prior. Somehow all of the midi data from the past 10 min was recorded somewhere, and now no matter what key I pressed it would just play back a note from my freestlye session. So, if I was to just jam out on C4 really fast, I'd just get back everything I had played a few minutes ago note by note, just really fast.

I tried opening different VSTs to see if it was Z3ta, but the same thing happened. I also turned the controller off and on, and it kept up. So, I'm guessing it's gotta be something with FL. When I closed FL and reopened, it went away.

This has never happened before and will probably never happen again. It's not really something that concerns me or anything. I'm just really curious as to what could cause such a strange glitch like that to happen. If anyone has any clue, please let me know. Thanks.

Yeah, maybe I will. I think I'm over it now, though. I guess I just felt like sharing a wierd story. :toothless

This can very well be an issue with your midi controller too.

You explained the problem but it still doesn't make 100% sense to me. You're saying the keys your pressing are the ones you played before? Are you sure you played them and its not just hitting random notes as you play?

This happened one day randomly on FL with my Alesis controller, but I found out it was the controller fvckn with the midi and not FL. Usually I have all sorts of wierd going on in Fruity but that time it was my controller and when I got a new one everything went back to normal right away. That problem more or less marked the death of my Alesis, it was about 2 years old when it started happening.

Yeah, I could hear the exact melodies I had been playing. I don't think it could've been the controller, because I unplugged it and plugged it back in.
