Streaming audio recorder

I never really needed to record streaming audio over the net, but tonight I do.
Any software suggestions for this? Shareware and freeware preferred. Thanks

poke around on www.download.com i found a really good freeware program that records excellent never had any complaints, i just forgot the name of the software it's on my home computer. You should be able to find a lot on that website.

I don't recommend this.

CNET's download.com is a hotbed for malware that's disguised in the form of video recorders or audio converters. They have a lot of good downloads, but thousands are bogus.

I know a lot of it is crap, but like i said if you're good at weeding out the malware you can actually get a great program for this. when i get home ill check out the name of the software ive been using for the last couple of years it works great.
