How about you enlighten me as to how it is done ******.
I just posted a pic of how it's possible in Acid. Why don't you stop insulting people first and show me how you're so smart and prove me wrong.

I just did, you fag.

http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=...&meta=&aq=f&oq=

Don't be a dumbass. We have enough of those here already. In Cubase it works just like any other automation lane. Same applies to Reaper. Can't speak for other DAWs, since I don't use them.

No no. post a pic like I did. I know how to fu**ing use google. I don't need you to show me how to type words in a web browser. All I asked is for you to post a pic. Do I need to keep repeating myself. Or are you that illiterate that you can't comprehend what I said.

Actually, you don't know how to use Google. If you did, you would have seen this VIDEO on the first page of search results, clearly showing how to do it in Logic...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUJDlLPPzZ0 (1:30)

Hence, proving this isn't a god feature in Acid and that you're talking complete . If you make a stupid argument based on ignorance, get ready for rape, sweet cheeks.

Looking at a 'chart' is the most inefficient way of writing automation I've ever seen.

If you look at the pic again. You can clearly see on the 'track properties' panel, where all the parameters are labeled. This saves time and improves work-flow. You just browse, select the one you want to automate and draw.

Whereas from the video you posted, the method is cumbersome and a work-flow killer. Unless memorizing numbers for all the parameters is your way of writing automation, when working with Reason.

What you see in that Acid screenshot are generic MIDI CCs... They're shown exactly the same way in Logic (drop down list at 0:59). If you actually understood MIDI, you would realise that the generic labels do not necessarily correlate to the mappings. If you listened to the video, you would hear him say this, hence why he checked the reference chart. Sigh.

Don't argue with me, you're going to lose.

Yes, I already know that they are Midi CC#s. But the whole point of my argument was that, in Acid, they are automatically labeled & can be accessed with the least amount of mouse clicks and without having to read a reference chart.
If I can remember, I think Ableton allows a similar feature. But from my opinion, it's not as fast or as well implemented like Acid. Meaning, a more user-friendly interface & curves.

That's a whole lot different from saying "automation doesn't work in anything other than Acid", now isn't it?

Anyhow, things really stepped up a notch there :wtf:
Let's cuddle, it's all good.

Perhaps I should have said it more clearly. I apologize for that.
But, you did provoke the argument to go to the next level by calling me a dud, fag, etc...

All you had to do was tell me that you were talking about CC#s. I made it pretty clear that I was talking about the labels that refer to the CC#s by posting a screen-shot (which was to prove the whole point).

My bad, if I escalated the argument also.

Yeah my bad. I'm man enough to admit I was being a dick. I don't know if you have noticed (lol), but I get carried away on here sometimes.
Fledz
echosystm is a bit of a dick but you'll get used to it. He also probably still supports that wit Krudd which makes him a terrible, terrible person :haha:
