Exactly, in my course there are still people that assume a 2:2 degree will get them training Dolphins on some tropical island for £100k a year! I know an ex dolphin trainer and she had to hold down 3 jobs just to make ends meet.
With loads of people on my course it also makes getting a job near impossible, hence why I have to do a Masters or Phd :( Still, Dr Jackson sounds quite good :)

Because in the North of England, well mainly the Yorkshire region where i'm studying a short-sharp "tuhhh" noise replaces words like "to" or "up".
So I could say "I'm just going down t' pub" or "I live t' north".
It can also mean "the"...

I loved Leeds uni, no idea about the music college though! I'm doing my post grad elsewhere, however, Leeds in general is an awesome city, so you could do a lot worse than go there.
