I kind of agree about arpegiated riff 'forcing' this and any other tracks on but this seems to be an inherant problem with arpeggiators. Given such arpeggiators were in vogue some years back and the composition was meant to sound dated i guess is anavoidable.
Anyway, what it does get gold stars for in my book is this: If you heard it unnanaouced next week would you remember or recognise it? I'd wager yes. |

That's a fair point about the arps tbh. Despite hearing them a bazillion times, along with the offbeat basslines I can't help still loving them though ;)
My school of thought when it comes to making music is that first and foremost i'll do what I like instead of trying to fit in with todays niche. I'm not particularly fussed about signings etc and I really just do it for fun so I might as well enjoy it :p
