Zion Linguist (MMD Records, South Africa) [LIVE] - First time in Australia!
Laurence AKA Zion Linguist started his career in the psytrance scene at the early age of 15 playing alongside some of South Africa's top acts. Now at 23 he is part owner of one of South Africa’s freshest labels, MMD Records (Mind Manipulation Device Records). He hopes, through his label, to release cutting edge psytrance written for the twilight hours of any party, and through his own music, rock the body and bend the mind! His second album entitled "Plugged In" has just hit the world in a big way, with massive dancefloor response and enthusiastic reviews. Zion Linguist has had single releases and remixes on Nexus Media, Afrogalactic records, Vision Records, One Foot Groove Records, Noize Conspiracy Records, Orb Records, Sonic Motion, BMSS, Organik and more. He has collaborated with artists such as B55, Slug, Zion, NRS and Frozen Ghost, and recently compiled the VA Stereo Neferia for MMD. Plug In as he brings his trademark energetic live show to Melbourne for the first time.
