I've just been invited to the graduation ceremony of a friend with Duchenne muscular dystrophy: the guy is hysterically funny, but he's always been somewhat apathetic because of his condition, and I'd motivate him every now and then. It took him so long to finish the course that I feared he'd drop out (he enrolled in the course one semester after me, and I graduated a couple of years ago), but he went on, slow and steady. And he did it!

| Getting a substantial amount of reading done and knowing that I'm on top of the game. I've also taken it upon myself to put together an outline for a huge group presentation, because I know the other girls in my group are super stressed right now. I got a couple thank you emails, and I feel good knowing I'm helping to ease their stress a little. |

| I took my girlfriend out to lunch to this little place on the opposite side of town we've been meaning to go to for some time. Made me quite late to work, but I just called in and told them I was going to show up later on. Feels good to tell your boss what's what. |

Actually, I saw him in the parking lot when I arrived. He was just on his way out. I said to him "So I finally decided to show up for work today". He replied "yeah, with this weather I don't blame you!".
But yeah, you're your own best audience member, as usual. |

| ********'s resume. I got 2nd head cold in one month and was feeling miserable. But then I read his resume, laughed my head off, realizing things could always be worse, then got a call for 3 big jobs that will make me mucho dinero. |
