Yeah its ridiculous!
Especially hairstylists. So you decide that you job is to cut hair. You then cut hair for which you get paid. And then expect me to say oh here is some extra money because you are doing your job and I don't think your employer pays you enough..hahaha give me a break!! |
for that matter, the clerks at the convenience store work harder than the servers...why do we not tip them and complain if they short change us? |

Then this booth is way overpriced.
Is anyone good even playing at decadence? /rhetorical question
I've never heard of a $5000 booth in Toronto (at least not at places I would go /have gone) |

you only don't tip when you pay for hair services directly to the hair stylist (people who work for themselves not the owner of the salon) - since they keep 100% of the amount
otherwise if you pay at a place where all stylists work for the owner, they rely on tips too..

lol don't you know, you even have to tip the cab driver and barbers/hairstylists for what they are SUPPOSED to do as well?
ing tips...servers/bartenders end up walking away with so much more in one night than the average person makes in a week |
I'm not sure if the same rules apply in Ontario but at least here in Quebec servers get charged 8% of your meal by the government. So if you don't tip at least 8% they end up paying to have served you.
Just an FYI. |

i think you misread it.
here in toronto, the restaurants will automatically add gratuity to your bill for larger groups. what acronym is saying is the provincial government in quebec will add an 8% "tax" to the bill which comes out of the servers' pocket. at least i think thats what i read. |
