Any metal fans in here? I'll admit I don't listen to metal much anymore, but back in CEGEP it was all I listened to.
Slayer, Megadeth, Korn, Alice Cooper, Lamb of God, Mastadon, Rob Zombie.
I love metal concerts at Drapeau, best concert of my life was Metallica in '03 at Jean Drapeau.. I was front row 5 feet from Kirk Hammett, so sick. I will probably be going on saturday to see Slayer and Megadeth.. hopefully Lamb of God is saturday too. It's been a while since I threw a few elbows around...

I'm not a metal fan, but i will probably be at this to see Korn and possibly Alice Cooper.
I don't really like anyone else playing, so i wouldn't pay for it. Once again, i am not an avid metal fan, but do go to shows once in awhile because it is something to do. When i saw Lamb Of God open for Metallica (which was a horrible show all around, Metallica needs to go into the old folks home), it was one of the worst bands i have ever seen live. Almost as bad as Kings Of Leon, but slightly better than the new "Guns & Roses".(Quoted because it is just Axel with a bunch of kids backing him up.) |

Korn's on sunday and Alice Cooper is on saturday.
I'm a big Megadeth fan, apparently they are rumored to be playing the whoe Rust in Peace album, which would be awesome. I'm not a big fan of Slayer, but I've always wanted to see them, and the carnage of a mosh pit haha.
And yeah Metallica's done.. saw em in 03 and they ing destroyed, then I saw them again in 05 at the Bell Center and it was one of the worst concerts I've ever seen.. I enjoyed Godsmack more opening for them.
Lamb of God's melodic riffs are fun, not a fan of the screaming but whatever. |
