Whats the point of banning someone?

I been hangin round the cor a while and seen 2 people get banned that return on the same day as an alt. Not even making an attempt to cover up the fact they they are an alt and being allowed several posts before being banned again?
Like whats the point? if you really wanted to you could come back moments later and not tell anyone your an alt and have full use of the forums again?
Why not just declare a free for all and have done with it? |

| You used to have to have your account approved by an administrator before you could start posting. Unfortunately, that's not the case anymore. |

Iv been banned a couple of times and have never made an alt. I think its pretty sad when someone makes an alt. |

It wasn't Nou. Once Neo stepped down from being so active, Del decided that it was too much work and that he wouldn't be interested in seeing if someone would take over the job. Now, he doesn't even bother to insert a CAPTCHA, thus allowing an influx of spambots and random trolls. |

oh i know. there were several of us who offered to help him vet it but it wasn't to be. For better or worse it's happened and now we just deal with it. |

Like do you have to go waaaaaaaaay over the line to get banned cause the cor can get pretty hairy at times and people dont get banned? |
