Otis Mathis is president of the Detroit school board... he is also, somehow, a college graduate. The Detroit school system is the worst performing in the country, ranks at the bottom in literacy, and has a dropout rate of well over 60%.
Reading some of this fool's emails makes it understandable why:

LOL! I also read this about him:
Otis Mathis attended and/or worked at Wayne State University for 15 years before he got his degree. He could not pass the English proficiency test, which was a requriement, to get his degree so he sued Wayne State all the way to the State Supreme Court who ruled in favor of Wayne State. Several years ago Wayne State dropped the requirement to mirror DPS and Otis walked in and finally picked up his degree. He has never worked in the private sector. His only success in life is to suck on the teet of the public trough. That is why he is fighting Bobb. |
