I once heard from a long-time regular at Circus, that "Outside of the club, Circus regulars really aren't very caring". Since breaking my leg in a roller-skating accident last December, my experience from Circus regulars has been to the contrary from her experience. For the past 10 years, I've rarely missed more than 2 or 3 Saturdays at Circus, but because of the broken leg, I've missed the past 8. After just 3 Saturdays, Don (Screen name in2muzikk)emailed me a few times to let me know that many (probably not "everyone")at Circus were asking about me and sending well wishes. For example, he sent the following email last month:
"Everyone (at Circus) keeps asking about you and would love to see you back at Circus as soon as possible...but I know it's important for your leg to heal properly and not to rush things. When the time comes, it will be one helluva party...lol"
I give great thanks to those who have asked about me at Circus, and who have sent well-wishes by mail, email and phone. Thanks to Jamie, Terry, Don and Douglas for calling. Thanks to staff, specifically, Mareo, Sunshine, Ernesto, Cole, Michael and Tom. Thanks to DJs Gil, Naomi, Bob Motamedi and Shawn. Big thanks to regulars Malia, Freddy, Trinity, Masaki, Ria, Wayne, Sarah, Toshi, Craig, Sergio, Arthur, Willy, Terry, Sean, and thanks again to Naomi, Michael, Robert and Michelle for posting well-wishes at www.Facebook.com/Chris.Aable
Neither I nor Don can remember everyone who asked about me, so if I left you out of this public thank-you, please forgive me. I will post further thanks on Facebook later this week.
For those who haven't been updated recently - Fortunately, due to modern technology I didn't have to wear a cast - They used a temporary titanium rod. The Doctor said my leg is healing faster than normal and will actually be stronger than it was before it broke in two above the ankle. I still can't dance or walk very fast, but this week I've reached the point where I can navigate stairs without crutches. So I should be...
Dancing again to the beat...
Like a crazed-weasel-in-heat..

Thanks much, DJ Naomi - I've heard from many Circus regulars that your sets have been awesome. I'm not surprised and I can't wait to move my feet to your beats next time.
