So the Dutch are pulling out,
Canada is starting its pullout and it will be complete next summer?

US is there until 2017 or something - any other bets on who will leave and when?

PS no Osama, no Mullah Omar??? What gives? Or maybe that would of ended the war earlier and people in certain places didn't want that. Al Qaeda went from a backyard mostly unknown organization to world spanning terrorist Empire. What did the war accomplish other than way tighter security in the US and abroad?

yeah, they're deliberately not catching osama because they want to stay there, due to the inordinate amount of success the war is having, and how wonderfully cheap its been to wage.

this is why people with severe mental conditions don't formulate foreign policy.

I really wish Obama hadn't upped the ante in Afghanistan. It's like mortgaging your house so you can help the homeless hobo on the street become a banker. It ain't happening.

Much better to just tax the house and give the proceeds to the hobo to buy more booze.

If Obama rescinds on his decision to pull all troops out from Iraq by end of 2011, I'll actually vote Republican.

Well, he reiterated his promise during his speech for Iraq's second Parliamentary election this week. So I think we're still still good on that :)

We may have a strangle-hold on much of the world but occupying countless nation-states doesn't usually lead to friendship. If anything, having more enemies means we're much less secure.
