Hi, i was just wondering if maschine is good for producing, i am a starting producer working with Ableton live 8, and Logic, would you recommend maschine for the studio, or is it just add a spice to sets when playing out? thank you very much |

Yes you can use it in the studio..
I would suggest watching the videos on the NI site to gain more info... |

nice, is it something that would really help me or should i start by buying something else? (im serious about producing so i want to have the basics first and then buy the extras since this stuff is quite expensive)
One more question, what is the academic version, im looking at ebay , and it says academic version, how is it different from the full version/ |

I use my Maschine for producing and it's probably one of my best purchases in the last few years. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good drum machine, beginner or expert.
AFAIK, the academic version has no restrictions, but you may want to confirm that through NI (it should be on the Maschine product webpage), or check their forums. |

you will need a daw which already has a better sequencer than the maschine one. This product is pretty pointless unless I suppose for live use. It isn't a drum machine and you need a computer to use it. It is an overpriced midi controller made to attract the purchases of brain dead rnb crowd. And I suppose Cryophonic :) |
