Just North of me... Balzac.
We also have Red Deer, Slave Lake, and our neighbour Saskatchewan has Regina, Buffalo Narrows, Canuck, Cut Knife, Eyebrow, Hoosier, Indian Head, Lampman, Moose Jaw, Old Wives, Success, Surprise Valley, Tramping Lake, and Uranium City.
There are a tonne of other weird names, but I can't be bothered to write them all down. |

| until 1951, there was a town in the north of sweden called "Kräkånger", which in modern swedish directly translates into "vomit-regret". In older swedish it's translation is "sharp angled bay". this isn't relevant any more due the fact they changed the name to something mundane as "Lövsele". |

| There are a few town names in Germany that also have a meaning in english. Near where I live there's 'Mailing' and 'Rottenegg'. |

there is a place somewhere in the carribean, i believe on turks & caicos called Hell, which does a good trade in people sending postcards from hell etc.
