The bolded requisites do not preclude nor prevent the acceptance in membership of people who have not had enough experience to know what abnormal really means. If I grew up understanding the parade of alcoholic men who dated my mother; sexually abused and beat the hell out of me as normality I might not understand that the cocktail of prescription Aderal, Valium, and Percocet I had been taking off-label, as the result of reliving child-hood trauma by seeking violent confrontation with men in the gay bars I frequented in between the sleepless nights I spent hours wanking to gang-bang porn, as an addiction.
I'm suggesting that you refine your criteria and means of administering its application before you wind up with an undiagnosed psychopath on your hands. |
