like what is it with you people? Can't you hear it? Does it bother you when others do it? Why don't you stop doin it?
Its like their oblivious to the fact everyone else at the table is looking into their plates just wishing it would stop! |

I make a slapping noise even when I'm not eating.
Does that bother you? Or is it just a meal thing? |

| At my table it's slap or be slapped regardless of the type of food or culture of the people at the table. |

| In my family, when we find a meal especially enjoyable we burst spontaneously into song in four-part harmony. This can cause some consternation at restaurants. |

| Why can't I find this meaning of the verb "to slap" in the dictionary? Is it synonymous with the verb "to slurp"? :conf: |

| I think he means people who really smack their lips as they chew. |
