| hey, i can either get the Numark TT1600's and a VMX100 (Behringer) or DM1001x (Numark), for £250. or i can get the Kam DDX700 and a VMX100 (Behringer) or Numark DM1001x for the same price, i was wondering which is the better package to go for, as i am on a very tight budget and i cant afford anymore-not even if i save up, cos i need to order them soon. |

| Try and get the cheapest mixer you can find with 3 band equalizers on each channel. Use the money you save from the mixer to get better turntables with direct drive. Does your budget include cartridges and headphones? |

I'd advise strogly against gettign a package deal, for the most part I think it will lead to disappointment. You'll want to make sure you get Direct Drive turntables and I'd suggest some good headphones too. Lots of times the packages just end up costing more in the long run becaseu you have to replace all the lower end parts. I'm not familiar with those two packages but I'd suggest researching other options. When in doubt get the better turn tables. They will help you learn faster and you can replace a mixer easier than 2 TTs. Also don't forget about spending money on records. That will burn a hole in your pocket. :-)
Good Luck. |
