Need a washing machine photo... (pg. 3)

- Avalon doesn't make money on alcohol from 2am-6am anyway.
- Not all of them pay full price at the door, as long as they grease the bouncers and/or call them in advance to reserve cheap tickets.
- Some get protected by their friends that spend lots of money for VIP.

Everyone should bring cameras and relentlessly take pictures of them and post them at crackheadavalon.com or something. I know most of them HATE having there pictures taken. Cameras in their face all night would ruin their high and it would make Avalon look bad so maybe they would do something about it.

I agree with all of this except I would like to add that you should make a business card and give it to them so they can see their crackhead asses on the web.

Washers are all over MNS as well. It was pretty bad when I was there for Hernan cattaneo. Drinks spilled all over me etc.

They always tend to find the good parties. They will end up over at Henry Fonda Theatre soon enough.

i agree with you Julia.

I pay to get in
i spend a lot more on alcohol than they do on drugs
i highly doubt management has any part of that
if they werent there, others, non-washers would be
i think they would actually make more
only thing i agree with is i guess you cant really do anything about it
thats why i just dont go, that and i dont like the venue, hopefully they wont be at sander k this Sat.

no. washers didn't land from moon all at once. they penetrated gradually and were tolerated by the clubs. when clubs did not sell out a few years back, they were brought by the promoters. they may not be buying alcohol, but full club looks better than half empty club. ticket price is higher for a fuller club.

if clubs want to get rid of them, they could. but, you are wrong to think empty spots would be filled by other patrons. it all comes down to making money.

the first time i saw washers were at circus. the funny thing is that you may not like washers but clubs probably would not be able to afford djs if it were not for them.

so, we are all pickles in a jar.

my main gripe with LA trance scene is there is no pretty woman. i could not care less what the rest of the crowd is.

Touche

I used to complain about the washing machines a lot and although what I think about them hasn't changed, I think rehashing our disdain for it gets old for me. Unfortunately, they are now part of the scene, whether we like or not. I keep to my space and try to enjoy the music.
