AMPD! returns to Stay
After a 3 month hiatus, we're finally getting back into the swing of
things. We'll be kicking off our regular return with 2 awesome artists..
our dear friends Inxec and Kabuto & Koji. We will also be celebrating 2
very special birthdays.. PJay and Susan. PJay will perform a birthday
set for us and Susan will be doing shows and carrying on.
Our first headliner is that tall guy you met from London when he played
for us back in January. Chris Sylvester aka Inxec played a killer set
for us up until our party got cut short by the man.. but Chris is back
to finish the job! In case you're not familiar with one of the hottest
studio duos of the moment, Inxec along with partner Matt Tolfrey have
become regulars on top DJ charts every where. To add to his already
impressive resume, Inxec has also remixed legendary artists like Ralph
Falcon of Murk, Tom Middleton and Rui Da Silva.
Our second headliner is the curly haired Tekes aka Leo from Costa Rica.
Tekes will be representing Cocoon/Supernature artists, Kabuto & Koji.
Tekes has been super busy as of late, having recently started a new
record label called Half Seas Over. For those of you that will be down
in Miami this year for WMC, there will be a Half Seas Over record
release party with a huge lineup of DJs. Audiofly, DJ T, Miss Jools and
AMPD!'s very own Leks the Imposter to name a few.
Did we mention it was PJay's birthday? The man that has been responsible
for setting up our favorite Thursday night Speakeasy space and bumping
sound system will be throwing it down. Speaking of sound, PJay bought a
new system and it will be in place for the 18th.
Leks the Imposter and DJ MSG will be book ending the night, as always.
