$699 - 8% Bing.com cashback = $643.
Do not underestimate Bing cashback. I have received literally thousands from it.

Since your not doing all that much audio recording, I'm not sure I'd bother with new converters... Maybe you could get just a good quality DAC and use it in conjunction with your motu and then grab a new synth as well... Or even go for a lynx and save a bit of money for a couple of months till you can afford a nord or a DSI.
Or buy some new plugins. How's your EQ/compression situation etc..? |

Yeah, I had a Nord Lead 3 a few years back. Sold it to finance my monitors. I liked it and everything, but I don't feel like that unit will provide as much value anymore since I have the Virus and several subtractive VSTs. The DSI line for me is mostly about getting a Mono or Poly Evolver, but most people I have spoken with do not think that the Evolver line will add much value to my current setup and I kind of agree with them.

Yeah I've pretty much settled on the UAD2 upgrade. I have my fair share of plugins, but the only plugins I use more than the stock Logic plugs are the UAD ones, so its a likely candidate for upgrade. The Logic stock plugins are so damn good, there is almost no need for anything else. Almost. |

He could always resell whatever gear he buys to finance either of those in the future. |
