As I'm not able to get espn america currently, and with the playoffs coming up i'm looking into ways of getting nhl center ice. It's basically something wihch will give me live and on demand access but has anyone ever used it?

The NHL™ Center Ice™ package is available exclusively on www.espnplayer.com. It is the hockey fans' dream ticket to the most comprehensive and unrivalled online coverage of the NHL™ season.

From the drop of the first puck on the opening day of the season to the lifting of the Stanley Cup in the final, you won't miss a minute of the action. The NHL™ Center Ice™ package gives you access to every game featuring your favourite team and player with over 1000 games a season - around 40 games a week and more than you'll get anywhere else from the Regular Season, Playoffs and The Stanley Cup Final.

Watch every game LIVE or ON-DEMAND and choose the game you want to watch, when you want to watch it by easily switching between live or on-demand games from the top scrolling menu bar. If there's a better game being played elsewhere, you're only one click away from getting straight into the action!

Choose a subscription package to suit you and enjoy the best live and official NHL™ coverage online all season long with www.espnplayer.com.

make sure you got fast enough internet. they used to have a demo available, my old cable wasn't fast enough to stream it. you should get it.

atdhe.net is not the best quality, but you can bet they'll stream all the games.

cheers. My experience with atdhe & other similar sites is that they're just not quite a brilliant quality & I'm willing to pay to get the quality that it would hopefully bring. As a n00b (3rd full season) fan of the NHL, I'm a caps fan, ovechkin etc are just so exciting to watch, however I do like the way chicago play, they're building something good there too.

in north america yes. In europe, ESPN is seperate and is our coverage for NHL, NBA and all college sports. The ESPN player offers the center ice package to us in all european countries except italy & another one I forget, russia maybe.

Same thing as you get I think, just espn's name on because they carry it etc. The thing here is that to get espn you either need sky & a subscription to them, of which I can't afford sky whilst i'm doing some serious saving this year & the contract that brings, or you can get basic espn by paying them through freeview, but we have 3 channels, espn (football, mma, small bits of others), espn america (nhl etc) and espn classic. Said subscription would only get espn so i wouldn't get all the hockey, hence why I'm looking into getting center ice :)

The general consensus however seems to be good about the product, I'll have to see how quickly i can get a line put in here & if it gives me time to subscribe for the playoffs or not.
