Is it really going to end at 2 or 3? I've been really disappointed with Infected recently. I'm close to putting them in the Guetta/Deadmau5 category of sellouts. I really miss the days when we could see them in nature parties...man, those were trippy. |
No, it only ended at 2ish @ Terminal 5 because it was an all ages venue. Due to that they have an early curfew. I'm pretty sure this event will go to at least 4AM. |

I got an official press release:
INFECTED MUSHROOM
KASKADE
ROSELAND BALLROOM
SATURDAY, MAY 8
239 West 52nd Street
New York, NY 10019
(212) 777-6800

Electronic-rock innovators INFECTED MUSHROOM are teaming up with world-celebrated producer/DJ KASKADE for a double-headlining bill of epic proportions. Going down on Saturday, May 8 at NYC’s Roseland Ballroom, this night is guaranteed to be one of electronic music’s biggest events of 2010.
Coming off their recent high-profile performance at this year’s Ultra Music Festival in Miami, INFECTED MUSHROOM are currently on tour in support of their latest release LEGEND OF THE BLACK SHAWARMA, out now on electronic music giant Paul Oakenfold’s Perfecto label. The band will be releasing the Killing Time Remix EP on Saturday, April 17, as part of Record Store Day, one day before they take over the Sahara Tent at Coachella. The Killing Time Remix EP is a five-song collection of brand new versions of the track "Killing Time" from Legend of the Black Shawarma that features hypnotic vocals from alt-rock trailblazer Perry Farrell. The EP also features remixes from music giant Paul Oakenfold, Israeli psy-trance artist Astrix, English trance producer John "00" Fleming, and INFECTED MUSHROOM themselves.
In February, INFECTED MUSHROOM performed a massive show in their hometown of Tel Aviv, Israel, with special guest Matisyahu, with whom the band collaborated with on a stunning remix of the track “One Day,” which charted in the Top 5 in Israel. The concert was broadcast live over Ynet.com, where over 500,000 people worldwide logged on to watch. Following their Tel Aviv spectacular, the band—once again joined by Matisyahu—returned stateside where they sold out Insomniac’s Awakening event at LA’s legendary venue, the Hollywood Palladium. As one of dance/electronic music’s favorite emissaries, KASKADE has just announced the release of his sixth studio album DYNASTY, available digitally April 27 with a physical release May 11 via Ultra Records. In support of Dynasty, KASKADE will launch an extensive worldwide tour to last through the end of 2010, which includes a summer residency at the Encore Beach Club at Wynn Las Vegas, where he will set the soundtrack to what will surely be the biggest pool party of summer 2010.
Dynasty is a 12-track journey where love has never been more apparent in KASKADE's sound and is the follow-up release to the massively successful Strobelite Seduction, which garnered him four global hit singles “I Remember” with deadmau5, “Move For Me,” “Angel On My Shoulder” and “Step One Two.”
The album features an assortment of collaborations, including the first single "Dynasty," smoothed out by the vocals of Haley, known to KASKADE fans the world over as the ethereal singer of "I Remember" and "Move For Me." There’s also the track “Only You” which features production work from none other than trance icon Tiësto. KASKADE also teams up with Dragonette’s Martina on “Fire In Your New Shoes" to deliver a rock-riffed, downtown cool, electro-pop sound sure to resonate all summer with the big city set.

How do you know what time KASKADE goes on? From everything that I've seen, the event is all ages. Wouldnt't that mean that the show will also end around 2am like it did at Terminal 5? I hope not but I guess just figuring out what time I need to get there by.
Im personally really excited for the show. I'm taking a buddy of mine that is slowly getting into the EDM scene. I figure this will be a better and less shocking introduction than taking him to a Pacha or Space when we are back in Miami. |
