I think it was Lews that posted the Peace Division remix of "Roaches" some time ago and it sparked an interest in me with these guys. I've never really heard anything of them as I can remember. I don't understand how I've been able to miss them though, I'm blown away! The builds in these old gems are unreal.

ps: This music is from 93-99 so if you like todays epic/dutch/asot don't even bother with these.

tribal minimal techno madness:

Haha yeah, I had that as the first video in the post, but figured most people would just listen to the first video and after 3 minutes of the exact same sound go "BORING" and not bother to listen to anything else :D

Never heard 'em, but I'm diggin' it. Neat stuff.

i like them, but the whole team is quite talanted and have knocked out a large number of tunes.

the guys behind this and other tunes are gaston steenkvist aka dobre / alex dijksterhuis aka jamez / rené ter horst aka dj zki.
it's mainly in the formations of dobre & jamez (tata box inhibitors, trancesetters) or dobre & dj zki (jark prongo, riva, chocolate puma, the good men)

Funny, I like todays epic/dutch/asot and danced on Trancesetters in the 90's, out of my head at the same time as Natural Born Grooves was hot.
Must be hard to imagine I guess.

Also fun that they are Dutch with all the Dutch bashing.
The only release they all three together did as far as I know was Mackino - El Dia Festivo (1993).

Also I remember Klatsch! - Oh Boy.
Won't be a surprise they also worked with Michel de Hey and Olav Basoski.

I am more surpised that you haven't heard of them before. They used to be really big in the prog house scene.

Stuff like this just makes me wonder why Trance has descended into the Sidechained Pool of Doom.

Maybe its going through a mid life crisis?

Thought about this today. Realised the time of "decended" or "unreal" trance now probably is longer than the time it wasn't, or at least close to that.

I thought about you when I wrote that, because you're kind of the exception to the rule. I'm by all means not bashing dutch music, it was just a disclaimer so the armin-worshipers wouldn't feel like they wasted their precious time and make this into a "anti-woscar-rant" or something.

I'm also surprised I haven't heard these before, though I realize I might have and not payed enough attention at the time, most likely because my taste have changed so much from when I started listening to music. The only thing I've heard and remember well is Vallée De Larmes, which is quite a different sound than these belters :p

adi; money, fame, dj worship :(

Thanks for the names montana, I'm definitely look into more of this. It's awesome I'm still able to discover older stuff that makes an impression.
