So for this, we thank you all.... Much respect.
On Monday April 5th we will celebrate with:
Darren Emerson:

Darren Emerson is one of the most influential figures in dance music, an accolade that after a career spanning more than 18 years and counting…
Whilst growing up on a diet of hip-hop, break-dancing and later acid house, Darren bought his first set of decks at 14 and began Djing in clubs at the tender age of 16. Inspired by DJs such as Jazzy M, Darren would travel two hours on a train from his hometown in Essex to visit record stores across London for the latest vinyl. His first gig was at a club called Outers in Southend, playing early Chicago and Balearic house. He then progressed onto the Milk Bar and Limelight, djing alongside Johnny Walker and soon gaining recognition by being named as DJ of the month in both the Face and I-D magazine – soon the bookings came flooding in…
Darren chose to ditch his job as an established city trader and take on dance music full time. Recently turned 18, a friend introduced him to Rick Smith and Karl Hyde. Smith and Hyde had been in a band together for several years and needed a new injection from a DJ/Producer – in the form of Darren - and the rest is, well… Underworld.
Darren started Underwater Records in 1994 - initially to release records for his friends, the label, since its inception has seen releases from Steve Mac, Mutiny, Meeker, Gus Gus, Pnau, Paul Jackson, Sharam Jey and Tim Deluxe – whose ‘Sirens/ We All Love Sax’ and ‘It Just Won’t Do’ managed to put Underwater firmly in place on the independent label spectrum. In 2003 Underwater was voted ‘label of the year’ by DJ Magazine and went from strength to strength releasing albums and singles from its ever growing and increasingly varied roster of artists. Darren continued his hugely successful Underwater residency at London’s The End, until the club sadly closed its doors early 2009. The residency began in February 2001 and has since seen the likes of Fatboy Slim, Josh Wink, Carl Craig, Tim Deluxe, D. Ramirez and Yousef alongside up and coming talent like Serge Santiago and Deepgroove.
Having spent most of 2007 touring the globe as one of the world's most in demand DJ's, Darren has recently returned to the studio which is very exciting news indeed. In 2008 Darren released tasty new techno club track ‘Crash Jack’ which received support from heavyweight DJ’s such as James Zabiela and John Digweed.
In February 2009, Darren will be releasing his eagerly anticipated 3rd Global Underground mix CD ‘Bogota’ whilst continuing his unrelenting schedule of Djing around the globe - at some point he sleeps.
Fergie:

Fergie (aka Robert Ferguson), a DJ of international standing for the past decade, has never had a stronger and more vibrant aural identity. Playing the kind of music he wants, determined not to be held back by perceptions and tags from the past, he continues to be a global representative for electronic music by consistently breaking down underground barriers and bringing new music to the people, without compromise.
There is no doubt that Fergie has firmly re-established himself as a producer of innovative exciting music that really takes a hold of you. Having dedicated himself to the studio for the past few years, where he totally immersed himself in his passion for music, this has been a true labour of love for
”I just wanted to go back and take time to rediscover what the music meant to me; how it made me feel, the buzz, the excitement. To ?nd a sound that would re?ect my individuality as a DJ and producer and in some way to recapture all of that in my productions” (Fergie).
Clearly he has found his sound and the results are very evident in the free ?ow of original productions and remixes being consistently supported by the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Dub?re, Laurent Garnier, Miss Kitten and Slam. His ever growing ?Excentric Muzik' label has been hailed by
Carl Cox as his “label of 2008”, with Cox going on to license several productions for his forthcoming Space compilation this summer. Underground cuts such as ?Anon', ?To The Core' and ?Blackeye-P' have helped to instill Fergie and Excentric at the forefront of serious peak time
electronica. Excentric off-shoot label ?Rekluse' (launched at the tail end of last year) has got off to a storming start with ?rst release ?2nd To None' by Umek refusing to leave the Beatport techno charts almost half a year after it's release, peaking at the number 1 spot along the way.
2009 see's a collaboration project with electronic compatriots Reset Robot & Alan Fitzpatrick is an outlet for a deeper, darker, more twisted side to Fergie, with the recent ?Gas Mask' / ?Rattlesnake' gaining momentum from DJ Hell, Luciano, Adam Beyer and Ivan Smagghe amongst others.
Then there's James Lavelle, who has consistently supported Fergie's work and drafted him in to his remix his renowned Unkle Project with devastating results. By the end of 2009 this will have been joined by remixes of Slam's seminal classic ?Positive Education' (Soma), Smith & Selway ?Work it' (Tronic), Yousef ?Letter to No One' (Circus Recordings) as well as Reset Robot ?Softie' on
Excentric.
Lewis Ryder:

With a degree in Graphic Design and a unique production and remixing style, Lewis’s creativity continues to stretch the norms of house and techno. Never willing to settle for anything average, Lewis designs all the artwork for his labels music and injects that same passion into his extraordinary DJ sets, productions and remixes.
After putting on parties for years, Lewis established Hindsight as a regular night at Inigo Bar London with Javier Espanol. The events grew from strength to strength and together they filled the place with guests including King Roc, Audiojack and Justin Robertson, to name just a few. With a fast growing reputation Lewis was soon hosting Hindsight parties with James Talk in the main room at The Cross and Anil Chawla, Miniminds and Neil Quigley at Egg. In 2007 Lewis’s explosive ‘Rock Out Of Bed EP’ and a mix CD circulated London’s clubs reaching the ears of Raymundo Rodriguez leading to regular sessions at Jaded, at AKA/The End and a feature on his Ministry of Sound radio show. Meantime, ClubClass in Maidstone invited him to play their Christmas party alongside Nic Fanciulli and Osamu M, leading to Osamu signing and releasing ‘Rock Out Of Bed’ in March 2008 on Outerspace Records.
Lewis is also no stranger to radio with guest mixes on Raymundo Rodriguez’s Ministry of Sound Radio show, ALiVE with Tom Budden on Proton Radio and Electrobit with FLSK on exa fm (Mexico).
Creative passion and ambition led Lewis to establish his own label, Bigger Deer Recordings in early 2008, where he could explore and expand on his unique musical style. The first release, ‘Empty Draw’ received top reviews from James Zabiela, Dylan Rhymes, Funk D’Void and Andrew Grant. His follow up ‘Techno Birds’, featuring Anil Chawla and Maher Daniel on remix duties was featured on John Digweed’s Transitions Radio show. Since then, Lewis has enjoyed production support from Desyn Masielo, Alex Tepper, Eddie Richards, Nic Fanciulli, Hernan Cattaneo, Laurent Garnier and many many more on numerous projects. He’s also fast establishing himself as a remix supremo having remixed Trisco – ‘Hoopla’ for Whoop! Digital, FLSK – ‘Evolving I’ for We Are Here and Miguel Rendeiro – ‘Quartz’ for OKO. Lewis also has a queue of thumping releases of his own due out this summer with his ‘Regional Gangster EP’ coming on Randall Jones’s Mynt Music, ‘Poo On My Shoe EP’ on Kanio’s Novakane label and ‘Spit In The Gold Fish Bowl EP’ on Alecs Martas Cuartro Records.
In autumn 2008 Lewis was crowned winner of the Pioneer/Space Ibiza DJ residency competition, and things have just been manic since then with gigs spanning the globe and all spare time spent on productions, developing and twisting his style.
Lewis’s latest release ‘Passport Ready’ on Bigger Deer Recordings has attracted the attention of none other than Carl Cox, who just loves Lewis’s “sexy underground hypnotic house music”. With all this in the bag and a bunch of hot summer ’09 releases in the pipe, it’s hard to comprehend that Lewis is still just 23 years old!
So come join the celebrations on Easter Monday! A day/Night not to be missed!
